October Paintball

This October we'll be participating in some action packed games. It'll be mostly speedball this month until i find some woods games to play so dont worry if you're a woodsballer.

First up are 2 trips to ohio paintball in coolville. The game on the 9th is short notice so its just an invitation for some club members to get some games in with me and the team. The second trip down is the 16th. I'm encouraging as many players as possible to come play, the games will be kept even and played fair, i myself along with some good friends and field staff will be reffing the side lines to keep the games going and make sure everyone has fun.

Cost for Ohio Paintball is $45 per player, this will cover a case of paint and all day air, there are higher grade options for paint if you wish to dish out more money, the prices there are very reasonable.

Lastly im calling all you experienced guys out, think you have what it takes to play competively? Well theres an open class tournament on the 31st at TPA Paintball, the field is located near canton, we will have a car pool for anyone interested. Cost is $20 for player entry and $40 for a case of paint. There's one catch to this game, ITS A RANDOM DRAW tournament, meaning you have no idea who your teammates will be, you could play with anyone from anywhere, maybe even a pro. I'm hoping to have some good talent come with me to show the rest of ohio what we're made of.

TRIP TO SPLATTERPARK CANCELLED!!!!!!

Due to a conflict in my work schedule i cannot take the group to the splatterpark big fall game this weekend.

If you would still like to go yourself all the info you'll need is at splatterpark.com. they have gun and gear rentals as well as directions.

The next game will be a trip at Coolville Oct. 16th at Ohio Paintball. We will play speedball all day on a choice of 4 fields, 1 airball (MAO LAYOUT), 1 haybail, 1 traditional and 1 woods. You will have to buy the fields paint since its a field paint only field, the cost will run $45, this will get you a case of paint (2000 balls) and all day air. there is no field fee for this field which is great, very cheap place to play with awesome fields.

2010-2011 upcoming trips

smart start went well. thanks to all the students and staff who participated. as you all know we have some games coming up, first is the trip to splatterpark for the Big Fall Game. this is a huge scenario game with over 1,500 players in attendence. they will also have a pro shop open as well as other vendors and the AMP Girls will be there! the cost for this game will run about $55 per person, this covers a case of paint, 2 air fills, lunch and admission. if you're interested in attending email me asap @ shalehillslayer@gmail.com. make sure to bring extra money, we will stop for breakfast and dinner, lunch will be provided by splatterpark.

the next trip will be a trip to ohio paintball in coolville for some speedball action. im working on a date to set for the trip, the cost will come to $45 per person, this covers a case of paint and all day air.

Recruiting Players!

I'm recruiting players for a beginner class tournament on sept 12th. This will be a 3man air ball event, if you are interested contact me asap so we can send in registrations and get some practice in. Cost of the tourny will be $45 for team entry and $45 per case of paint.

After the event is over i will scout interested individuals to play on my team HellKnights for the 2010-2011 season.

New and Returning Students

Stay tuned for upcoming events this fall, there are some big events coming this way. Come out for smart start the week before fall quarter and get your game on, there will be a couple huge games at Ohio Paintball to celebrate their one year anniversey as well as a holloween big game. Splatterpark's Big Fall game will go down this october with a turnout of 1,500+ players, always a good time.

For competitive players and anyone who wants to play for stakes we will be recruiting for tournaments as well as starting a rookie league at Ohio Paintball.

New events list is up for 2010, i dont have a good bit of dates scheduled yet but i will mark them asap. I'm still looking for recruits to help run things this year since i wont have a lot of weekends free between work and playing in tournaments. I need someone to step up and take over the club starting spring quarter, my term as president is almost up with me being close to finishing school and getting picked up on a new team with a busy schedule.
